My Time Made Easy January Release ~ Day 2

Hi all!  I'm back with another project to share for the My Time Made Easy January release that kicked off yesterday.  Today my project shows off my new Plum Pretties digi paper pack.  I kept going through my collection of paper and realized I don't have a selection of purple patterns to choose from (I'm a "red" girl at heart)...so I set off to come up with something I could turn to time and again.  I think this pack fits the bill with the basic patterns as well as the Cherry Blossom scene on two of the sheets.
I see a lot of papercrafters use these scenic sheets for their cards and they turn out beautifully...which sparked my inspiration when I started designing my patterns for this release.  Hopefully I can further convey how versatile digi patterns are with my project.  For my So Fortunate template, I printed my patterns scaled to 3x5" (which fits four patterns per 8.5 x 11" sheet...talk about saving cs!).  I cut one of the template decorative panels on scrap cs and used it as a template.  Meaning, I laid the scrap decorative panel on the scenic 3.5" pattern, traced it and cut it out by hand.  I created my black, mat layers by scaling the decorative panels in SCAL to 105% and cutting them from black cs.

My satin, purple May Arts ribbon was the perfect base for my ribbon treatment.  I added a double black bow and a bloom from my stash.  I poked 3 pearl floral sprays through the center of the flower (after folding each in half), and colored the tips with my violet Copic.  I stamped my sentiment on one of the What's My Fortune? Cookie cut file flags, curled it with my fingers and tucked it under my ribbon.

This pretty lady from Catherine's So Fortunate stamp set is a MUST if you like to color.  I'm by no means a great colorer, but I sure like practicing on her.  Soooo cute :]  I cut her from Neenah and popped her up on dimensionals.  The brass tag was a cool find in my stash from a LOOOOONG time ago (pre-stamping era).  So, I stamped the Love sentiment on it with black Staz-On and adhered it with a snap and a dimensional.

I added some pretty lavender bath goodies to my pretty package (this box is HUGE!).  Yes, it holds the bottles easily tilted on their sides (I forgot to photograph, sorry), but the loofah distorts the box a little if I stuff it inside with the two bottles.  It fits with one bottle beautifully, but not two.  Soo...either way, cute, cool little gift :]

Last but certainly not least, you'll want to check out some of our teams' projects today to help cultivate your crafty mood :]

That's really all I have for you today!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope your Sunday is a long, relaxing day to round off your weekend on a sweet note ♥
