MTME Blast From the Past in the Shabby Tearoom!

Hi friends.  Today I'm sharing another MTME project, but NOT specific to this release.  I'm using all "old" products :] 

My sweet friend and MTME teammate, Debbie who hosts the Shabby Tea Room challenge, was sweet enough to feature another fellow teammate, Tangii, and I on her challenge blog today!  The challenge is sweet!  Here are the deets:

"Welcome to 2011 ~ make a card or project with 11 elements"

(layers, embellies, images, etc.)

Pretty easy and significant...don't you think!  The card I'm sharing today is actually one that Lauren and I put together while I was at her house for a visit this summer.  Yep...it's old...but the flower is new.  The original flower we had on it fell apart...completely.  So, I used the technique we challenged everyone with in October at Just Us Girls - the burnt edge fabric flowers, and replaced it.  LOVE how they turn out...they're so pretty :]

Okay, so for my 11 elements: 

1. Cardstock/digi paper
2. Ribbon
3. Acrylic tag
4. Satin, burnt edge flower
5. Pearl brad
6. Flat backed pearls
7. Glitter
8. Acetate oval
9. Vellum
10. Twine
11. Cut file label

Kind of a unique, pretty take on a newlywed card.  I used my MTME Diamonds and Pearls paper, layering the main panel under vellum stamped with a MTME Fanciful Flourishes swirl in vanilla craft ink, and cutting the other panel using a label I have yet to release :]   Lauren tied the ribbon in that very cool way, and added the acrylic tag stamped with "LOVE" as a subtle, elegant sentiment.  Almost everything is on dimensionals to give it depth...including my cake (from MTME On Display)which literally has three tiers...each with their own graduated depth of dimensionals.  I just love the way it turned out :]
