Hi all! I'm back for another Just Us Girls challenge :] Today sweet, Maria is hosting a color challenge. She chose this springy palette of pastels:
Today is extra special because we are surprising Lisa for her birthday!! Her special day is actually on Monday, but we wanted to celebrate JUGS style a couple days early. SOOOO...the twist for our color challenge is to create a birthday card in honor of Lisa! Here's mine:
As you can see, I took the liberty of adjusting the hues a little on my card ;] I've been so busy moving that I haven't even used my new paper from last month yet! SO, I was determined to use it on this card even though my printer is sitting in my family room on a cardboard box and all of my supplies are still boxed in my craft room. Working full time and driving my daughter to and from gymnastics every day doesn't lend a lot of spare time for organizing. Hopefully I can put a serious dent in it this weekend. Anywho, I changed up the lavender to more of a pomegranate hue and used two variations of pink and green. I left the yellow off since it was optional. My layout is from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch (MTSC69):

OMGosh, I was not expecting this! You guys are sneaky and I love you for it! Your card is gorgeous, as usual! Love the new papers (I haven't used them either...printer is low in color ink!). I'm amazed at how you create these! Thanks so much for celebrating my birthday with me. I'm off for a weekend with the girls to celebrate!
