Just to give you an idea of what I'm dealing with! LOL I'll post an updated picture once I get it organized. It's a LOT smaller than my old craft room, but I think I can work it out perfectly with the huge closet in there. Cross your fingers for me ;]
Okay, okay...onto the CTD challenge I'm hosting this week!! I selected my palette from a gorgeous Cosmo Cricket pack of patterned paper called "Everafter".
Fresh, right? I love it!! I've had the pack for a while and it's truly my go-to pack when I don't use my own digi paper. Which worked out perfectly tonight since I don't have my printer or my Cricut set up yet. I mention the Cricut simply because of the flower on my card:
LOVE how this bloom turned out ♥ Being that my Cricut is taking a break this week, I didn't use one of my MTME floral cut files. Instead I used two heart punches, two daisy punches, and a snowflake punch. Yes, a snowflake. I cut 6 hearts in each size out of the patterned paper, three daisies in each size out of So Saffron cs, and two medium snowflakes.
I curled the edges of the hearts using my bone folder and colored the base and edge of each petal with a Prawn colored Copic. I then used a glue dot on each spoke of the snowflake to adhere individual petals, then layered the two blooms. I punched three daisies in each size, and pinched them together in the centers after adhering the layers with glue dots to create my stamen. The rest seems pretty easy to figure out ;]
The layout is from the JUGS27 sketch challenge I hosted a week ago but couldn't play along with!
Okay, I suppose that sums everything up. I'm about to pass out on my couch, so I'm going to close. Please be sure to swing by the CTD lady's blogs to check out their inspiring, GORGEOUS projects!

Well, you must have some sort of analytical brain in addition to all your craftiness, because there is no way I would have figured that a heart punch could be used to make this flower....it is GORGEOUS!!!! You are da bomb!!! Personally, I don't think the room looks all that bad, either. I am sure you will whip it into shape very quickly!!!
