DISCLAIMER! I'm NOT a digital scrapbooker and have never touched this stuff until now. HUGE thanks to Jen Tapler for giving me some digital advice and tips :O) She is a digi queen! Some day I'll learn to add shadows and the cool, fancy stuff...but for now, this is it. I found the stars, metal brads and ribbon FREE on Free Digital Scrapbooking. Pretty cool, huh?
I created my patterned paper using the two sentiments in the PCS Weiman Wranglers set. I simply recolored the "Howdy" and used the horseshoe from the "You're Amazing" sentiment. I arbitrarily rotated the images randomly and ended up with some cool patterned paper. Neat, huh? The plaid paper is actually "try before you buy" PTI paper.
Okay, so I KNOW this card is ULTRA simple, but I truly had very little time to work on it in PA. Next week I promise something MUCH more detailed!
So, with all that, we would LOVE for you to play along with the color challenge today (MTCC03) and if you want to go that extra mile, you could join our team in using the Weiman Wranglers set! Pink Cat Studios is offering the set for only $6 and all proceeds are going to the Make A Wish Foundation, Illinois Chapter, in honor of Ethan Weiman. Such a worthy cause, and a fabulous organization that made a huge difference in Ethan Weiman's life. And don't forget the prize I'm offering! You can read about that in my previous post :O) Deadline is midnight Saturday night!!!
Can't wait to see what you create! Please be sure to post a link to your creation using Mr. Linky on Lauren's Blog! Also, be sure to stop by the design team members' blogs for some more inspiration! This talented group is sure to WOW you!

Kristin, I think you did great! Way to go, and I hope you keep playing digi, you've done great out of the gate...
This is all digi? Girl, you are good! I'm having issues getting my images printed and sized right and you are coloring, creating dp, getting stars and ribbon! OMGosh, this is fabulous! I just looked at your previous post, too, and love it!
Awesome Kristin! I don't know a thing about digital images, besides how to print them! You've done a fabulous job here!

OMG Kristin this is fabulous! I cannot believe what you did with all this - well yes, actually I CAN believe it knowing your amazing talent - don't sell yourself short - this is PERFECTO and a true inspiration - I will remember to color my sentiments too - I love that for the BG. You are amazing!
Well, HOW-DEEEEE sister! This is fantastic! I really LOVE the Howdy sentiment in the set with it's cool font and have yet to make it sing...I think I know what to do with it now!!! I love your custom digi paper! And forget your disclaimer, your a digi girl now too! Yeehaw!
Oh, Kristin, this is beautiful! I don't know how to change colors on the images---any hints you could give us/me? What editing program do you use? I couldn't move my images close together either like you did on your first card. I am no computer pro, that's for sure! This is awesome! You did a great digi job!
Kristin, you are the best when talking about digi works. YOur card is simply great! Good job girl!
What a cute western Weiman Wrangler card! I really love the stars you used. I purchased the wranglers when they were first released, but have been arguing with my printer, so went with those mushrooms instead. I suppose I could color them digitally though and print on regular paper....don't know why I didn't think of that! But, thank You for inspiring me!! :>
Great color combination. I'd love to play, but I'm on vacation and my stuff is 2,400 miles away. :(
Wow!! For your first attempt at digital Kristen you did an AMAZING job!!!! I've just printed my Weiman Wranglers for the first time since I purchased them last week and can't wait to colour them - but gee maybe I better re-think that and try something digital - although that might be kinda scary - I am soooo not a digital person - Yet!!!
