I promised my sister that I would send her some pretzels, so I whipped up another box last night. I used the colors from the SCS Color Challenge #199 (CC199). Actually, two of the colors are the old versions of the required colors for the challenge...I really need to upgrade my ink collection :O)
The colors for the challenge are:
So Saffron
Bravo Burgundy
Handsome Hunter
I used:
So Saffron
Baroque Burgundy
Forest Foliage
Close enough I think :O) The instructions for the pretzel box can be found in this post. Supplies are listed in my SCS gallery.
Oooh, great box. I was all about boxes for gift-giving this year. And I like how you used the colors for the challenge as ink. I always run to see if I have any of the designated colors in cardstock. Funny how we can get in a rut. Guess I need to start thinking outside the box! ;)
It was so funny yesterday my next door neighbor/SU Down line/ good friend told me about this girl who had made a Pretzel Box and used the Colors only in ink not card stock and how creative that was.
I said I wonder if that is my blogging friend Kristin she made a really cute Pretzel box at Christmas.
Well you left a comment on her blog and now she has left a comment on your blog and how funny! What a small world!!
I love this box Krisitn, and the way you used the colors!!
Thank you for leaving a comment! It really does mean a lot to me. I will visit your blog if you have one...that's where I find most of my inspiration :O)
