Good Works

This card is for my Dad and his wife. They are some of the most generous people in my life. Without going into detail and putting my sister's life out there, I'll just say that they really came through yesterday. She was in need, I mentioned it in normal conversation, and they came to the rescue. I don't think they understand how wonderful we think they are. I plan on sending this card to them as a thank you :]

The layout came from today's Sketch Saturday #22 challenge. I finally ordered the corner rounder from Stampin' Up! even though I already have a corner rounder from Creative Memories! I bought it to make scalloped circles, and wah-lah! I did it today :O) I also found that the SU! corner rounder has a much sharper rounded edge, which cuts less paper. Unlike the corner rounder from Creative Memories...the edge is pretty broad which can inhibit rounded corners on a small rectangle or square. I'm thinking the SU! punch will work much nicer for the small projects. So, not all is lost on the additional purchase!

Hope you were inspired to stamp today :O) I was overly inspired, yet couldn't dedicate a long stint of time to stamping. We're redoing our family room, so I kept sneaking in bits and pieces of this project :] Thanks for checking in!
Supplies are listed in my SCS Gallery.

Kristin,
I love it! I read on a blog somewhere that you she used the corner rounder to make a scallop circle. At first I figured I had misread it and never went and tried it. I will have to do that today! Glad to know it works. My newest downline and I are ordering a Big shot tomorrow with her first order, as she lives next door we can share it! Yea!!! I am so excited to be able to start doing some of the great cuttlebug embossing folders, and die cuts you see everyone do! I can not wait for my big shot to come, but now I know we can save some money on buying the scallop circle die cut and do this instead1

I love this stamp set you used. It is the top set on my wish list, and I think I am going to have to buy it on my Stamper's Club order this week!

Thanks so much for sharing, your work is an inspiration as always!

I look at your hit counts every time I come. Just think a little over a month ago when I first found your blog the hit counter was at 135, now you are close to 700. Isn't it fun! I love blogging, and getting to share so many cool peoples ideas thru blogging!
