mytimess15...

Okay, just a quick post tonight! I created this card for Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch challenge (#15). I actually created a different card last night, but I didn't like it when all was said and done and the photo was not worthy of posting. So, after I uploaded to SCS and was waiting for my image to be approved, I decided to delete it. I'll share it at the bottom of this post to show you what I'm talking about.

I gave the sketch another stab today and I like this card a little better, but I have to say, my mo-jo is seriously M.I.A.... I think I lost it on my way to Texas this week :O)

The only stamping on this card are the snowflakes w/Versamark on the turquoise paper. I embossed with clear powder, added Dazzling Diamonds while the powder was still hot and reset with the heating tool. The large snowflake was cut with a Sizzix die using velvet "Tomato" colored paper (the 1" strip at the bottom is from the same paper). I used a Making Memories rub-on, glittery sentiment directly on the velvet (who knew it would take so well? :O)

Oh, and speaking of waiting for my image to be approved on SCS...I uploaded this card over six hours ago and it's still not approved. Anyone have a clue as to why? Maybe I'm not commenting enough on the site. I don't know :[ Oh well.

Hope you all had a fantastic week and even better weekend! I'm off to look for my mo-jo.

Hi Kristin,
well I do not know what the first card looked like, but I am sure it was much better than you are giving yourself credit for!!! I have never seen a card of yours I did not like!

This is a very cute card. I had that problem of not being able to upload to SCS for over a week. I had e-mailed a bunch of people to ask for ideas and finally went to the forums area under help or problems or somthing it is like the last forum and then they did somthing and I was able to upload again. Wierd!!!

This card is cute. I have not tried to die cut anything but paper with our big shot yet!!!

Next Door Nieghbor and I share a Big Shot as she is a SU downline, yet the one that introduced me to SU. She did it for 10 years as a customer of some one in another town, invited me to one workshop and I sighned up did it for two years and then she signed up under me so she has been doing SU for 12 years, but only 3 months as a Demo

I hope the SCS thing gets fixed. I have got to start doing Laurens sketches again it has been way to many weeks and that is the one sketch I promised myself I would do every week!

TFS Krisitn! Go find that MoJo fast!!!! I want to see more of your creations!
